Ready to introduce the Fourth year Honours program in Computer Science, Political Science, English, Assamese and Economics from Session 2026-27 under GU-FYUGP as per NEP 2020.
N.B. 1: Opting Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Statistics and Physics as Core Papers, one must have Mathematics in 10+2 level. One can take Computer Science as minor without Mathematics.
N.B. 2: There is no Major Program in Bengali, Hindi, Philosophy.
N.B. 3: Major Selection will be in First Semester; but Major classes will start from Third Semester.
N.B. 4: Those who opt for only Minor Programme will choose any two core subjects available in the college.
N.B. 4: Two language papers (i.e. Assamese, Hindi, Bengali) can not be opted as Minors simultaneously.
N.B. 5: Only one MIL paper can be opted as Minor with English as Core 1 (Major).
N.B. 6: English can be taken as Minor with Assamese as Core 1 (Major).
